Once your account got approved and your blog is set up, in order to maintain your blog online, we would expect you to make at least 30 posts in Lorelei Web Forum in every calendar month. We are flexible and will not terminate your account without warning in any given month if you made less than 30 posts, however, we would appreciate your consistent contribution in the forum.

• Do I need to keep my Blog at LWblogs.com active?

No, you if you want to use your account just for uploading images, that’s your choice, we do not set any activity or inactivity limit for the blogs.

• Will you place adverts on my pages?

NO! None whatsoever. We want to provide our members with 100% quality blogs, therefore members who do not wish to monetize their websites and place their own ads, will enjoy an absolutely clean looking site.

• Can I place my own ads on the blog?

Yes, of course. You will have access to editing the source code and can place Adsense, Adbrite, Kontera or any other banners and adverts you choose as well as reviewing sponsors at PayPerPost.com

• How much bandwidth and disk space can I use?

The amount of bandwidth and disk space you may use for uploading images and posting is unlimited.

• What type of files can I upload and host?

The allowed extensions are: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, doc, ppt, odt.

• Is there a file size upload limitation?

No. However, if you upload images above 2 MG, WordPress panel may have an overload timeout so you’d have to try again.

• How can I use a different theme (template) for my blog?

The blogs we install come with approximately 50 pre-installed themes you can choose from, right from your WordPress panel. Nevertheless, we understand the need to personalize your page, therefore if you wish to use a custom design, or a theme that is not available in our pre-installed panel, please email us with your blog sub domain URL and the link to the desired theme, we will upload it for you.

• Will I get an email address as well?

No, we are sorry but we cannot provide an email address at this occasion.

• It’s free and you don’t make profit, where is the catch?

No catch, really. We value our members participation in Lorelei Web Forum and want to reward them with a free blog. We provide blog accounts only to our valued members, therefore we are not dealing with massive applications that require extra hosting fees.
